I
am absolutely obsessed with the design and fashion of years past, especially
that of the mid-century. Vintage ads, vintage clothing, pretty much anything
from the 1920's - 1960's.
My personal
motto is, "It all went downhill after 1968", and I mean this in
terms of the above areas. The past has been idealized, but it is hard to deny
that these "modern times" are sadly lacking in the glamour and mystery
of the past.
I
hope to bring the very best of the design of the past to you through my paintings
and graphic art.
